Feel Good, Authentic Torrey Pines Romantic Engagement Photos

I met up with Erica and Chris for a stunning engagement session at Torrey Pines State Beach, where they also took time to celebrate their recent pregnancy. We hiked up to the tip-top, and sped (slowly) down to the water just in time for the clouds to show a magnificent cotton candy sunset! It was one of those sunsets you take the time to enjoy and take it all in.

I’m so excited for what’s to come for these two and their wedding in Mexico next year!

It rained heavily during their wedding day, but they remained in the moment leading with such a great intention to soak up every moment. I couldn’t help but notice how bright they shined despite the crazy weather, and I would be remiss if we did not revisit shooting their portraits on a separate, sunshine-filled day that’s as bright as their love. Casey married Natalie in the beautiful mountains o Casey married Natalie in the beautiful mountains of Colorado - a place that he spent Summers growing up. Casey’s Papa John buried a bottle of bourbon upside down 1 month before the wedding, in true southern tradition, to ward off bad weather on the wedding. And boy did it pay off! When I first arrived it felt like I was in a dream. You could hear the Conejos River running from my cabin, and the wind rustled through the aspen-lined roads. There was hardly any phone reception, making it the perfect place to unplug and have an intimate wedding day with your closest family and friends. This truly was such a beautiful wedding weekend that I won’t ever forget. #coloradowedding #menkhaven
