Timeless High Line & Central Park Engagement

A beautiful evening for engagement photos in central park and high line…

Alex & William’s engagement session started at on a quiet Central Park day, where the sun came out to meet us just so perfectly. We spent some time going to their favorite spots, reminiscing on how they met, and laughing our way through Bethesda Fountain while music from nearby buskers filled the air. Hopping off the subway, we strolled on through to the High Line, but not before a quick outfit change that put the cherry on top for this evening. As the city transitioned into night, I couldn’t help but document how romantic everything felt for these stunning souls. This has quickly become one of my favorite engagement sessions because of how effortless their love and willingness to be in the moment was.

The wedding weekend of Sam & Colby was filled with The wedding weekend of Sam & Colby was filled with so many legendary moments, but most importantly, it was filled with such a goodness that could only come from a special couple like them.

From rehearsal day, to classic car cruising. Watching Colby walk down the aisle, to their first dance with all eyes on them. JOY. Looking back at these photos, I can instantly recall the joy that they exuded to everyone around them. I’m just so grateful for these two and the opportunity to witness this incredible wedding.

One of my all time favorite couples and weddings, with @theweddingplanandcompany @joykrisjon 💙
When was the first time you saw a bride? Disney When was the first time you saw a bride?

Disney did a great job illustrating the magic surrounding such a special woman on a wedding day. But nothing could prepare you for a surprise on your field trip.

Adriana was exactly that - poised and completely in the moment, throughout her entire wedding day. Both her and Bradford almost floated throughout the day. Eyes locked on each other. I could read just how much they meant to each other.

It’s inspiring to see such focus and intention, however natural it may come. Marriage is a journey not with what you have, but with who you have to share it with.

And I’ve never met a groom that whipped out a Flying V on his wedding night, and ripped on the guitar harder than I ever could.

Grateful for these two 💙

Natalie and Lars’ @theshermangardens wedding is th Natalie and Lars’ @theshermangardens wedding is the perfect reminder that we are less than 1 month away from Spring! Their love truly was in bloom 🌺

From a tearful beachside first look, to an intimate garden wedding with your closest family and friends. Japanese Maple, flowers, succulents and cacti all around as decor, all the way through to a string-lit reception. I couldn’t help but notice all the small things amidst great company.

I could see why this beautiful rock-loving couple traveled all the way from Nashville, to have their wedding on the California coast. This is one of my favorite weddings and couples working with @theweddingplanandcompany @theweddingplanandco_christie! #leicam #leicaq3 #shermangardens

Way up in the mountains with the rain and fog. Mi Way up in the mountains with the rain and fog.

Mike and Gabrielle’s wedding left such an impact on me. I’ve been studying and documenting the human spirit for years and years, and I couldn’t help but admire this couple’s decision to enjoy every moment of their wedding day. It’s hard to do, and it’s rare. No matter how hard the rain came down, no matter how thick the fog.

You dream about your wedding day years in advance, and sometimes the weather doesn’t go the way you had planned. But Mike and Gabrielle were so inspiring in their commitment to the moment, and to each other.

A few moments got me on their wedding day: Gabrielle’s emotion-filled walk down the aisle. Mike’s mother/son dance starting off with a throwback video singing with his mom (tears fam!). And the way the party turned up inside a barn, despite it raining cats and dogs outside. Socks were soaked, and hearts were full.

They embraced every moment, and squeezed it for all that it was worth. And because every couple deserves a sunshine day, we decided to do a “day after shoot” right back at their venue. Part 2 coming soon!

Huge shoutout to the legend @theweddingplanandco_christie for planning this incredible day, even through the craziest of weather! 💙
